County Executive Hospitalized

COLUMBIA, MD – Paramedics from Howard County Fire & Rescue transported County Executive Ken Ulman from the County’s administrative offices, located in the 8900 block of Stanford Boulevard in Columbia.

Emergency medical personnel were summoned to the Ascend One building in the mid-morning for a nosebleed. The Columbia Flier reports that Ulman was transported by ambulance to Howard County General Hospital, and was reportedly conscious and alert throughout the event.

Our thoughts are with the County Executive as he recovers from this episode.
