WOODBINE, MD – Firefighters battled a barn fire so well involved in fire they were forced to fight it from the outside.
At approximately 9:15 PM, firefighters from Howard and Carrol counties were dispatched to a report of a barn fire in the the 15300 block of Frederick Road. Units arrived to find a barn fully engulfed with fire. Due to the extent of the blaze, commanders decided that the structure would be unsafe to enter.
Firefighters battled the blaze from the ground, as well as well as from an elevating platform.
